Donations to Scholarship Fund

Grandparents, aunts and uncles, as well as friends can donate any dollar amount towards a child’s tuition and that amount is tax deductible.

A Donation through Your Business or Corporation

Because many employers offer a matching gifts program, please check with your company about this prior to making significant contributions.  You may be able to DOUBLE the impact of your gift!

A Donation of Needed Equipment or Supplies

Donations of materials and equipment in excellent repair are welcome, but only as needed. Please check with the school office before bringing in any equipment donations.

A Gift of Appreciated Property

Stocks, bonds, real estate, and mutual funds can be donated to CHA. By making a gift of appreciated property, you receive an income tax deduction for the market value of the appreciated property and you avoid paying the capital gains tax you would pay if you sold it.

Volunteerism Grants

Grants from employers of CHA parents who volunteer at school are available at many companies! Ask your employer if this type of grant is available.

Donations to the Endowment Fund

Direct your gift to the CHA endowment fund.

Additional Gifting Opportunities

There are ways to give by bequeaths made in a will, gifting a life insurance policy, or establishing a trust where CHA receives money and you receive an income. Everyone’s situation is different so please consult with your tax or financial advisor to determine the best ways to give based on your circumstances.
