Parents lead the Parent Community group and all parents are part of our Parent Community. It is tasked with connecting our families with each other and living out our mission of supporting and nurturing our children to become responsive disciples of Jesus Christ.  In addition to building relationships with other CHA families centered on faith and our children, this is a wonderful opportunity to share your time, talents and/or treasures in four specific areas. Plug into areas that are a great fit for you. The Parent Community notifies the school of needs and activities. Some parents serve with their heads, some with their hands, and some with a big heart.

Examples of Parent Sponsored Activities: 

  • Boo-Hoo Woo-Hoo coffee the first day of school

  • Teacher Appreciation

  • Various after school clubs

  • Family service events such as decorating Christmas cookies with residents at an elder care home

  • Family movie nights

  • Parent ambassadors

  • Photographing school events

  • Coaching sports

  • Assisting in the classroom
